Beef Farmers

The comfort slat mats have been developped in the first place for beef farmers. They often had health problems with bulls on concrete slats or on traditional rubbermats. In Ireland the slatmats were introduced at farms since 2008.

I found that the animals were much happier on the mats and where previously we would have had animals injured and lame when housed on slats, we had no injuries or lame animals after a full season on the mats. My one concern when I bought the mats was that they would come up off of the slats, but I need not have worried, as they never budged.”

Dairy Farmers

From 2009 we supplied many farms in the Netherlands with the green floor seen it was accepted by the authorities as a low emission floor. Dairy farmers combined animal welfare with protecting the environment.

Because I keep prize cattle, maintaining their condition during the winter months is extremely important for me.
